Here are some of the more interesting search terms that brought visitors to this site during December. You can see previous editions of this monthly post here.

Again “naked” searches topped the list of noteworthy entries, including naked women of color; naked scuba diving pictures; naked apron; naked men diving; naked female scuba divers videos; fine naked womens; naked women from the mask; shapely naked women and scuba diving naked images. Geez! If anyone ever made a nude scuba gallery, I think it would have a very high pagerank indeed!

More thong search humor last month with scuba diving in thongs (so just a search for partially-naked scuba, okay); thongs florida (reasonable, actually) and thong smell (ew!).

Some visitors like spelling as the following searches came in last month: cool flag that starts with the letter o; stuff start with letter m; apparel beginning with the letter i; colors beginning with c and product begining with the letter x.

And finally, my favorite search term for the month of December was funny sperm whale products.

Did you know you could get Star Trek uniform-style wetsuits? They come in 3mm, 5mm and 7mm and you can pick from yellow, blue and red. I don’t know how wise it would be to get a red one though. You can buy them at along with other goodies from the Roddenberry Dive Team.

I have a Statcounter counter on this site and I like to check it to see how visitors find The counter tracks visitors to not only this little blog but also the scuba gift & novelty shop pages. I’ve been having fun with this on another blog, so last month I decided to keep track of some of the more unusual search terms people used to find this site. Here’s a breakdown of the most interesting search terms for November 2009.

There were a lot of “naked” searches, including these: naked diving; naked scuba diving; naked women scuba diving; naked scuba; naked scuba divers; naked women teddy bear (what?!); greeting cards with naked women; and classic naked. The only “naked” anything on this site is our Coed Naked Diving t-shirt design. No naked women, sorry searchers!

Funny typos and misspellings were good for a few laughs, too: dog scubba shirt; statue of jesus in meditterean sea; stiker design in malaysia; dlophin greeting cards; scuba apparels; scuba appralll; gift for scubba divers; happy birthday images skuba diving; and tracksuite funny. Fortunately, Google and other search engines usually can figure out what the searcher means with the typos and misspellings, so the search results make sense.

These three thong searches bring very different images to my mind: whale thong (ew); sperm thong (ew); and police in thong (lol).

Someone searched for find the meaning of someone give white colour teddy bear. I can just imagine someone fretting over an innocent gift. The stress of teddy bears!

Someone else wondered how to write on shirt. It’s not that hard, really. I bet you already know how, without needing some internet tutorial. Really. The person searching for what kind of stuff do scuba divers look for? didn’t have to go far (haha).

And finally, I’m not sure how someone searching for cute fishes ended up here – clearly they should have landed on Scubadorable.

Bollywood star Shriya Saran is a recently-certified scuba diver. She took lessons in the Andaman Islands and unlike other Bollywood stars before her, the lessons were for pleasure and not in preparation for a movie role.

Scuba diver Rich Hughes found a silver pocket watch while diving off the Welsh coast. The watch was engraved with the name of its owner, as well as the year it was engraved: 1866. The diver had to do quite a bit of detective work to eventually return the timepiece to the family of the original owner, ship captain Richard Prichard. Read all about this amazing scuba story here.
